I'm a scientist by day and foodie by night. As with all projects, this blog was partly inspired by end of year style "what am I doing with my life" considerations. After watching many YouTube videos that will be referenced in blog posts and spending my vacation from work cooking everything from eclairs to bouf borguignon I decided to start cooking new-to-me-things more regularly and writing about it! I don't profess to be anything more than an amateur chef but I do really enjoy experimenting in the kitchen. While early recipes will be heavily reliant on leaning on the shoulders of giants, I hope to evolve my style as I continue and I hope that this blog will be interesting!
