Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I enjoy cooking, baking, dancing and raising my sons.

Does Everyone Keep a Tab Record?

Does Everyone Keep a Tab Record?

I’m so curious about this, because it’s something that I end up doing. I never seem to close tabs on my smartphone. Sometimes I’ll look through it when I run out of room (curse you, 99 tab limit) the and sometimes I go looking through it of my own accord and just see where I’ve been.

In recent years, I’ve established a tradition of sorts. I typically wait to clear most of the tabs out until the end of the year. In a weird sort of “year in review” tradition.

So here’s some insights from my year in review, picture shows a few pages worth (scrubbed of private info of course):

  1. I started my year out looking at Audible and doing some shopping; looks like shoes @ Zappos, thinkGeek, Wayfair Mortar & Pestle Sets and Best Buy were my focus points.

  2. Then I transition to food, whether it’s checking out the Binging with Babish book, looking into where my Chipotle order was, ordering DoorDash or thinking of how to best plan a meal plan in my BulletJournal. Food was on my mind.

  3. Some interesting segways into fashion here and there, I purchased my new Galaxy Active2 Watch earlier this year and accessorized with some straps.

  4. Looking into moving with storage facilities and googling some paintings that were left in my Abuela’s apartment.

  5. Some truly random things like; “how many stomachs do cows have?” That must’ve come from my son.

  6. An obituary for someone I admired greatly and didn’t find out had passed until a month or so afterwards. I wish I had reached out sooner. This really hit home for me.

  7. Back into food, I started receiving locally sourced meat and looked into joining a CSA, the CSA never happened was too wishy washy with pick up times and given the pandemic, I was nervous.

  8. Some work related technology things; stack skills excel course, enter-3 filament changing guide, automate the boring stuff with python, solid works training…

  9. Circling back to fashion and shopping…

  10. Then the really random things, the decision to apply for my eMBA through Quantic (still waiting on the decision!) and obtaining my undergraduate transcript.

  11. How to make apple pie and the best apples to use in baking an apple pie.

  12. The fabulous #itwasneveradress after the recent MA Conference for Women.

  13. And then googling a ton of things for summoners war. Which I’m obsessed with.

It’s really fun to look through the year. I’m about to close most of these tabs, but I’m super curious if folks actually do this too?

No? Just me? Cool.

Merry Christmas
